Experience Cooking Sicilian

Palermo Trip Overview

My mission is to share our traditions and ancient Sicilian recipes with you.
We are looking forward to welcoming you!
The setting is a typical Sicilian farm. In summer, the food is served in our garden, amidst unspoiled nature. Fattoria Sant’Anna is 15 km. away, i.e. a 30-minute drive, from the center of Palermo.
We will be happy to arrange a shuttle service from the center of Palermo for the guests who do not have a personal car.

During your experience, you will immediately find yourself immersed in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the kind ways of chef Giuseppe.
After a welcome toast with a good glass of local wine, we will prepare together a dish of caponata, the queen of typical starters in Sicily.
You will discover and learn the secrets of fresh homemade pasta (tagliatelle), and how a good meat ragu sauce should be made and dressed on homemade pasta. We will cook exquisite meat rolls, and you will complete your meal with the most world-renowned Sicilian desserts: the Cannolo.
Obviously, the proposed menu can be changed based on your personal preferences.
We will cook together, mainly using our organic products, starting from our hens’ eggs. We will use the flours of ancient Sicilian grains and – most importantly – we will cook seasonal vegetables, as our grandparents used to do in the past.
