Stop At: Spargi, Spargi, Maddalena Islands, Province of Sassari, Sardinia

Duration: 1 hour
Pass By: Spiaggia Rosa, 07024, Sardinia Italy
We will take photos in front of one of the most enchanting and protected beaches in the world: the famous Pink Beach, one of the most spectacular phenomena of nature. Spiaggia Rosa is part of the Maddalena geomarine National Park, an area of inestimable naturalistic interest. It is subject to a particular protection, which is why it is not possible to walk on the beach or swim in its shore. The island, located just north of Spargi, is famous for the mythical pink beach. The coral-colored beach, the chromatic intensity of the colors of the sea and the shapes of the granites that surround the cove constitute a unique spectacle in the world. A natural monument to be observed in religious silence.
The pink beach of Budelli – immortalized by the director Michelangelo Antonioni with a very long sequence in the film “Red desert” – is located south-east of the island of Budelli in the Archipelago of La Maddalena and is so defined because of its characteristic pink color coral. THE
Stop At: Spiaggia di Cavallieri, Isola di Budelli, Sardinia Italy
The Cavaliere beach is located in the northern part of the island of Budelli, inside the Porto della Madonna (spectacular mirror of crystalline water, a real natural swimming pool, enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria) and is characterized by a white and thin sand that faces a clear and transparent sea.

Razzoli and Santa Maria
They are almost united by the Asinelli Pass. The island of Razzoli is the most exposed to the north and impresses with the majesty of its cliff and the shapes of its rocks, similar to Moore’s sculptures.
Impressive and suggestive the lighthouse overlooking the Bocche di Bonifacio.
In S.Maria, however, where some houses built before the building prohibitions arise, there is still an ancient and modest convent where in the Middle Ages the Benedictine monks, fleeing from Bonifacio, found refuge.
The island has a beautiful beach, Cala S.Maria, one of the largest in the archipelago. In the peace of S. Maria the screenwriter Franco Solinas, one of the most prestigious authors of world cinema, wrote many pages of the most important films of Italian “committed” cinema.
Gian Maria Volontè rests in the suggestion of these places, sailing solitary among the islands and in the impetuous wind of the Archipelago.
The Porto Madonna
This is the name of the lagoon with an emerald sea enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and S.Maria.
It is undoubtedly the most suggestive place in the park.
Popular destination for boaters who frequent the sea in the north east of Sardinia.
In this extraordinary body of water, the Park has reserved large areas of the sea dedicated to snorkeling and seawatching.
