DEPARTURE FROM PADUA OR ABANO / MONTEGROTTO TERME We will first set out for the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio, an immense symbolic garden dating back to the 17th century, which a few years ago was named the Most Beautiful Park in Italy, completely surrounded by the verdant panorama and gentle curves of the Euganean Hills. Here water features, tree-lined avenues, fountains, an intricate labyrinth and statues combine harmoniously in an allegorical path of ‘Salvation’ along which the visitor, passing through various stages, from the Portal of Diana to the Statue of Winged Time to the Dolphin Fountain, is guided in the symbolic liberation from sins. We will then move on to visit Villa dei Vescovi in Luvigliano di Torreglia: a precious gem set in the Euganean Hills, an ancient holiday residence of the high prelates of Padua dating back to the first half of the 16th century.

The Riviera del Brenta, a well-known waterway between Padua and Venice, is an interesting panoramic area from historical, natural, artistic and cultural point of view. It is a natural extension of the Venice Grand Canal and is flanked by picturesque Venetian villages and surrounded by an agricultural landscape. The Riviera del Brenta has fascinated many important personalities at all times: Casanova, Galileo Galilei, Byron, Montesquieu and D'Annunzio have visited it, Canaletto, Cimaroli and Tiepolo have painted it and it has been praised in the masterpieces of Goldoni and Goethe . Here the Venetians built magnificent residences, enclosed by monumental gardens, frescoed and designed by the most important artists of the time such as Palladio, Tiziano and Tintoretto.

We’ll discover it with, first, a visit in a well-known olive oil mill, where the oil producer will explain us his every day work and the process of production of olive oil. In the end, we’ll finish this visit with a guided tasting of olive oil of the Euganean Hills. We continue our experiential tour with the visit of the little enterprise of a producer of venetian delights: here we’ll have a tasting of liqueurs, marmalades and Brodo di Giuggiole accompanied by the wise tale of the owner and producer.

This tour through the hills of Valdobbiadene and the Prosecco DOCG will take you to the upper Treviso area, just over an hour's drive from Venice, along the natural amphitheater that opens up between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. A unique scenario that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019. The tour includes a visit to enchanting places such as the Molinetto della Croda and the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria di Follina, two of the most evocative corners of the Treviso area. For lunch we will visit a family-run winery for a wine tasting paired with typical local products: an obligatory stop to learn about the production methods and taste the excellence of the area. Finally we will make a stop in a second cellar to end the day by toasting with a glass of the prestigious Cartizze, one of the most renowned types of Prosecco.
