Itinerary
Incredible river trekking in the Straits of Giaredo, an exploration on foot of the Gordana torrent, suitable for everyone, even children… only requirement: KNOW HOW TO SWIM!
It is a place still far from mass tourism and uncontaminated, where spectacular canyons have been excavated in the rock by the swirling waters of the torrent.
After picking up your equipment and meeting the expert guides you will set off to discover the wonderful rural village of Cavezzana Gordana, from here along a path and the riverbed of the Gordana torrent you will reach the entrance of the canyon.
It will be possible to go up the Straits of Giaredo walking and swimming up to the dam above.
The difficulty of the route depends on the season and the amount of water present: usually this excursion is recommended for people who know how to swim and, in any case, in the summer season. At the end light lunch in a typical “trattoria”.
