Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Monteriggioni, Monteriggioni, Tuscany

Monteriggioni is one of the few examples of military fortresses in Italy. It was built in the 13th century by Siena to defend itself from the attacks of its historical enemy: Florence.
Its mighty walls, 560 meters long and topped by 14 towers, can be admired from afar on top of a hill overlooking the Elsa valley. You can climb up the walls and admire the surrounding landscape from a terraceor you can stroll along the narrow streets and enjoy an atmosphere that takes you back to ancient times.
Of particular interest is the medieval festival held every July

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: San Gimignano, San Gimignano, Tuscany

San Gimignano is one of the most fascinating medieval villages in Tuscany.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this village is known for its towers, its history, architecture and small shops, ideal for buying gifts or bringing home a memory of this beautiful place.
San Gimignano was originally founded in the third century before Christ by the Etruscans.
The village is located along the Via Francigena which was a very important road during the Middle Ages and was used by pilgrims to move from Rome to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Many of these pilgrims stopped there carrying commercial exchanges that favored the enrichment and development of the village.
You can visit the Collegiata (cathedral) rich of beautiful 14th centuries frescos, the fortress or one of its famous museums (civic museum, torture museum)

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Chianti Road, Italy

The Chianti is a vast territory between Florence and Siena in the heart of Toscany. It’s an area known all over the world for its wines and olive oil as well as for the magnificent landscape.
During the visit we may stop for lunch in a typical restaurant or “trattoria” or, for wine lovers, in a “family farm” where traditional food is served accompanied by their own wines. The owner or a winemaker will show you the celler explaining the different steps of processing the wine (from the fermentation to the bottling)
After lunch we will enjoy breathtaking views and have the opportunity to do wine tastings or stop and visit charming hilltoptowns before going back to the hotel.
