It is one of the large buildings that have characterized Roman architecture and one of the ancient amphitheaters that has come to us with the best degree of conservation.

We will start from Juliet’s house, one of the most visited places in the city. From the small courtyard it is possible to admire the famous balcony and the bronze statue of Juliet. Legend has it that touching the statue brings luck in love to young couples. Inside a small museum with period furniture and representations and engravings of Romeo and Juliet.

Salò is a beautiful town, near Lake Garda, which is beautiful every day of the year. The name Salò derives simply from “Sale”. Apparently this territory, in fact, was one of the richest of the Roman colonies which based its economy on large deposits of sea salt that reached here directly through the connection of the Mincio and Pò rivers.
