We begin our adventure in the Cathedral Square, home to Palazzo Reale.
The iconic Duomo di Milano. This stunning Gothic church is an artistic masterpiece featuring 135 spires and over 3,400 statues. Our Expert Guide will help you appreciate its beauty and historical significance. We’ll dig through centuries of Milan’s history and learn about the first king of united Italy, who is commemorated by an equestrian statue.
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a glass-covered 19th-century arcade with luxury shops of top Italian designers and upscale dining. It is a shopping experience worthy of the kings!
We’ll continue exploring the historic Centro Storico, soaking in the medieval atmosphere of Piazza Mercanti and admiring beautiful palaces along the way. The guide will tell us about the living legacy of Leonardo da Vinci, and about Italian opera and ballet at Teatro alla Scala (outside only).
