Itinerary
Day 1: Bodyrafting at the Alcantara Gorges
Stop At: Le Gole dell’Alcantara, Strada Provinciale 7, Castiglione di Sicilia, Sicily Italy
Arriving at the Alcantara Gorges you will wear all the necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet and jacket) and you will begin the ascent of the river and then the descent along the river to the valley, following an expert local guide. Along the way you can admire the rocky walls of volcanic origin.
The route is about 2.5 km long, between passages in the water and on the surface. In some places you will swim along the river or get carried away by the current.
