Gathering at the headquarters of the Ferula agency in Matera with a bike ride to Craco. Visit of Craco.
The splendid “ghost town” in the province of Matera is today one of the unmissable destinations of the Lucanian land, due to its charm and beauty, it was destroyed in 1963 by a landslide that forced the local population to leave the village to take refuge in the new municipality of Craco Peschiera.
Today it is possible to follow a guided tour, along a safe itinerary, which allows you to walk the main street of the town, until you reach what remains of the old main square and enter the core of the ghost town.
The route continues by bike until lunch at the Agriturismo.
Finally the tour will end with the return to Matera from the farmhouse by van.
