What to Expect When Visiting Lucca, Toscana, Italy
For the guests it is a unique activity as they will have the opportunity to visit the cellar and speak directly with the winemaker. The environment is very friendly and easy going, we try to make wine tasting fun so that everyone can join in. It’s a relaxing afternoon with a nice view on Lucca’s hills to enjoy while sipping wine.
The experience consists of a tour of one of the cellars in the hills of Lucca. Guests will be shown the various environments of the cellar and explained the stages of wine preparation. Depending on the time they come they might also see some of the wine making processes. Afterwards, guests will be accommodated on the terrace where they can taste our wines and the olive oil (included in the cost of the experience) combined with typical products. I will sit at the table with them to explain the organoleptic characteristics of the various wines and answer any questions on the subject. Depending on the guests, the whole experience can last just under an hour or more generally over two hours.
