What makes Gallipoli Full Day Private Tour: Coast, Beaches and Wineries a unique experience ?

Transfer from Lecce to Nardò 30 minutes.
Independent visit to Nardò Historic Center. A beautiful little medieval city with lots of historical Baroque buildings, the Castle, the Square and many Churches. The most beautiful is the Basilica Cathedral founded in the 11th Century, but all of that are unique.

Eventuality of wine tasting tour in the Cellar (Closed on Sundays and depending on availability).
In the same town of Nardò you can choose to get an independent wine tasting tour in one of the most important local winery (advance booking is required).
The cellar provides different experiences from 3 to 4 glasses of different grapes wine, a little appetizer made with taralli and focaccia bread, plus typical cheese for 2nd option, and a full experience with 5 glasses of wine that includes a cold cuts platter too.
The wine tasting cost goes from 30 to 40 euro/person and will be paid in the winery as your needs.
In the case the wine tasting won’t be done the time will be spent in the next halts, or adding some stop, as customer wish.

Here we’ll stop for enjoying the place where you can find a lovely free beach as well as private lidos, so bring your swimsuit and towels for being delighted by an amazing sea.

Gallipoli, the Ionian pearl, is divided between the modern city and the old one. The ancient city is located into a limestone island, connected to the mainland by the bridge built in the 16th century. Here you’ll have free time to find out the historic center characterized by narrow streets crowded by local handicraft shops, lovely baroque Churches and aristocratic Palaces. Also worth seeing are the Cathedral, one of the best examples of baroque in Salento, the Castle built in the 13th century and the Greek fountain, one of the oldest in Italy.
