Itinerary
Day 1: INDIPENDENT ARRIVAL LECCE
Stop At: Lecce, Lecce, Province of Lecce, Puglia
Indipendent arrival to Lecce and check in selected hotel Dimora dei Celestini (or similar). Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: LECCE – LUNCH IN MASSERIA – OTRANTO
Stop At: Lecce, Lecce, Province of Lecce, Puglia
Meet with the guide at the hall of your hotel. Walking tour of Lecce with its elegant churches and palaces in Baroque style. Private transfer with a local driver to a typical “masseria” ancient farm and lunch.

Stop At: Otranto, Otranto, Province of Lecce, Puglia
After lunch, private transfer to Otranto to visit the Romanesque cathedral with its impressive mosaice pavement of XXII century.

Day 3: OSTUNI-MARTINA FRANCA-LOCOROTONDO
Stop At: Ostuni, Ostuni, Province of Brindisi, Puglia
After breakfast, check out and meeting with the driver at the hall of the hotel. Private transfer to Ostuni, the white city. A local tour guide will be waiting for us to show us this quaint village of white.

Stop At: Locorotondo, Locorotondo, Province of Bari, Puglia
We will continue towards Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Light lunch with local products such as the typical “capocollo” ham.

Stop At: Martina Franca, Martina Franca, Province of Taranto, Puglia
We will end our day in martina franca to visit its beautiful historic center.

Stop At: Monopoli, Monopoli, Province of Bari, Puglia
We will reach Monopoli, a characteristic citadel on the Adriatic sea where you will stay for two nights.

Day 4: ALBEROBELLO – COOKING CLASS
Stop At: Alberobello, Alberobello, Province of Bari, Puglia
After breakfast, meeting with the driver and guide to reach Alberobello. During our walking tour you’ll admire the rural architecture of “trulli. You will have the opportunity to enter one of them and see how the peasant families lived. At the end, private transfer to a typical masseria for a cooking class of pasta with light lunch included

Day 5: POLIGNANO A MARE – WINE TOUR
Stop At: Polignano a Mare, Polignano a Mare, Province of Bari, Puglia
After breakfast, check out. Meeting with the driver and guide and transfer to Polignano a mare, birthplace of the singer Domenico Modugno.
A pleasant guided walk will lead us to the discovery of this authentic jewel on the sea. Then transfer to wine farm with visit and tasting of 3 local wines with typical products.

Stop At: Trani, Trani, Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Puglia
We will reach the splendid city of Trani, called the Pearl of the Adriatic sea. Check in boutique hotel Palazzo Paciotti (or similar) and sunset tour in the old town.

Day 6: CASTEL DEL MONTE – OLIVE OIL TASTING – MATERA
Stop At: Castel del Monte, Strada Statale 170, 76125, Andria Italy
After breakfast, meeting with driver and guide and transfer to Castel del Monte, unesco site since 1996.
This medieval castle is considered one of the most fascinating in the south of Italy for its particular shape and history.
At the end we will taste the local extra virgin olive oil, rich in polyphenols and precious organoleptic properties.

Stop At: Matera, Matera, Province of Matera, Basilicata
After a short break we will cross the territories of the Murgia to reach Matera, important Unesco site and European Capital of Culture 2019.
We will immerse ourselves in the history and landscapes of a timeless city with a local guide

At the end of pur day we will stop in Bari for the overnight stay

After breakfast our tour will end with a street food of Bari. We will visit the alleys of the old city where the famous Basilica of San Nicola is located and we will taste typical culinary street food.
