- In Rome Vans are better than Buses: Van = up to 8 seats, Bus = from 9 to 50 seats. This mean that the Bus will drop you off and you will walk for the entire duration of the tour (6/7 hours) to the other side of town at the end of the tour to be picked up. Bus in Rome has only a small number of authorized spaces dedicated to pickup/dropoff travellers so, usually, during the city tour you had to walk for about 4/6 miles.
