Outdoors …you will practice standard search and measuring techniques used in this research. Next session will be underwater for two dives to practice what you have learned. Including a wonderful dive to our amazing underwater heritage. Back on shore a detailed debriefing is conducted with you preparing fieldnotes and drawings to document your fieldwork. This is truly a hands on program. *A PADI certification card is issued upon completion.

Learn the basic techniques used to conduct research as an Underwater Archaeology Diver. During the classroom session you will receive a brief history of Underwater Archaeology and its origin.
