After an hour of driving we arrive in Siena, a city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race held twice a year. Walking around the city you can enjoy the main attractions from the outside. Palazzo Pubblico with the Torre del Mangi, the famous shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, home of the Palio di Siena and then the Duomo di Siena the Gothic cathedral with its beautiful interiors, including the mosaic floor and the Piccolomini Library

Between Siena and San Gimignano in the picturesque Tuscan countryside we stop at a winery for tasting of excellent wines and lunch. After lunch we will reach San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a small medieval town surrounded by walls. Known as the City of Beautiful Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen tower houses, with its position on top of the hill and the walls that surround it forming “an unforgettable skyline”.
