Built in 1560 by Giorgio Vasari, the Uffizi itself is an architectural gem, with its breathtaking ceilings, decadent architecture, and lavish corridors and galleries. As you wander amongst the collections, your guide will describe the life of an artist during the Renaissance, the politics and fashions that influenced the masterpieces you are about to see, and the patrons and benefactors behind these incredible works of art. Take in the classic works of Italy’s spectacular Renaissance masters, from Leonardo da Vinci to Raphael, Titian, Giotto, and Caravaggio.
