Travel back in time when visiting Palazzo Vecchio! Palazzo Vecchio offers Roman ruins, a Medieval fortress and amazing Renaissance chambers and paintings. A microcosm where art and history have been indissolubly bound for centuries.
Already at the entrance you will be greeted by two impressive statues, the copy of David and Hercules and Cacus.
Upstairs you’ll make your way to the rooms, where Bronzino, Ghirlandaio, Giorgio Vasari and others worked, not to mention the works by Michelangelo, Donatello and Verrocchio exhibited in the space.
You’ll explore the impressive Salone dei Cinquecento, with striking sculptures and enigmatic frescos and other beautifully frescoed rooms.
On the second floor you’ll find the apartments of Cosimo I and Eleanor of Toledo, the Apartment of the Elements and other incredible rooms.
