Tuscany…what else? Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside and leave the confusion of the city. Spend half a day in the most famous wine region in the world (Chianti), tasting 5 of the best tuscan wines and visit the medieval village of San Gimignano, known worldwide for its tall towers. Be guided through the verdant landscape of the "Sweet Hills of Chianti" on a private tour, tasting Chianti Classico wine and other famous Tuscan wines, such as "Super Tuscan" and "Vernaccia", at a family-run winery. Learn basic winemaking techniques and discover the legend of the "Black Rooster" (symbol of Chianti). Afterwards we will visit the famous village of San Gimignano, a medieval open-air museum, where the population still lives in the beautiful towers. You will be fascinated by the medieval streets with traditional shops and fine craftsmanship. We organize 2 daily departures. You can choose to take the tour that starts at 8:30 am or the afternoon tour that starts at 3:00 pm

This is a great opportunity to spend HALF DAY (5 hours) in Tuscany enjoying a great lunch and wine tastings. We will pick you up directly by your accommodation in Florence and we will head to a local family owned winery where you will enjoy a great wine experience and delicious home made food. At the end we will drive you to San Gimignano, a stunning medieval town in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive grooves and the rolling hills. Here you will have time to stroll around the town for about an hour. Enjoy some free time shopping in the local artisans shops and take pictures of the incredible architecture of this ancient town. Later of we will leave San Gimignano to take you back to Florence stopping in Michelangelo Square lookout for some beautiful pictures of the city! Join us on this amazing tour!

The picturesque, well-preserved medieval town of Siena lies in scenic hill just south of Florence, between the Chianti area and Maremma. Siena is a treasure trove of art, pageantry and architecture. Visit Giovanni Pisano's wonderful black-and-white Gothic Cathedral and tour the Palazzo Pubblico; the climb up to the bell Tower – Torre del Mangia – rewards the visitor with a great view over the city. If you're there at the beginning of July or in the middle of August, try not to miss the world – famous Palio horse race, a tradition dating from the Renaissance, that takes place in the Piazza del Campo, a marvellous, sloping plaza in the shape of a half-shell whose circumference is topped on race day with a layer of dirt to create a track.
