Stop at the first of its five fishing villages, Riomaggiore, for a stroll alongside pastel-colored houses and charming squares.

Stop At: Borgo Storico di Manarola, Manarola Italy

The smallest of the Cinque Terre villages, Manarola sits in the gorge of a high headland among vines, olive groves, and fragrant Mediterranean shrubs.

You’ll head to Vernazza for a traditional seafood lunch (own expense), and then hop on a boat. Watch the rugged shores of the Cinque Terre slip into the distance as you relax on an hour-long cruise to Portovenere.
