Stop At: Fattoria Lavacchio, Via di Grignano 37/38, 50065, Pontassieve Italy

The Lavacchio Winery is located in the hills of Chianti Rufina and a short distance from Florence. This boutique winery has been run since 1700 when was built by Peruzzi’ family. 
In 1800 passed to marquis Strozzi Sacrati of Mantova and finally, in 1978, to the current owners the brothers Lottero, who came from Genoa and has always been Tuscany lovers, who undertook a complete restoration allowing the recovery in production.
The estate is situated on the top of the hill of Montefiesole, at 450 meters above sea level.
It is a typical family business, surrounded by the enchanting succession of rolling hills covered in olive groves and vineyards, located between the towns of Sieci and Pontassieve.
Since then the farm has preserved the best traditions of farm dedicated to the cultivation and production of organic wine and oil, combining old hand craft methods, the most modern techniques.

Tenuta Bossi, owned by the Gondi family since 1592, has always been famous for its wine.
Situated on the wooded hills north-east of Florence, in the heart of Chianti Rufina, a wine-growing area famous since Etruscan era.
A gem on a hill, over a valley of vineyards 18 km from Florence, between 200 and 400 meters above sea level.
The estate has 315 hectares of which 19 of vineyards, 32 of olive groves and the rest is cereals and woods.
The family has always believed in the local territory, the Chianti Rufina wine region that makes unique and distinct wines.
They continue with the family tradition trying to maintain what our ancestors have always done: preserve the integrity and beauty of the local environment following the philosophy that has always distinguished Tenuta Bossi, the continuous research for the highest quality products. Skilled artisans, romantic vigneron, they mold grapes into wine giving it a soul that makes uniques wines.
