Why choose this Florence tour ?
Full day driving tour to Chianti with a stop at Greve
This full day tour will take you into the hills of Tuscany passing along one of the country’s most beautiful and famous routes. First stop is a surprise for most: a quick visit to the WW2 American war Memorial where more than 4400 brave US soldiers rest in peace. Then we will head to Greve, situated in the heart of the Chianti region, with a charming central piazza and the famous 200-year-old butcher shop, Macelleria Falorni, where we can sample all kinds of cured meats, cheeses and olive oil. After this, we will visit a winery, where you will learn how typical Tuscan products are created in a classic family-run Chianti-style tradition. You can enjoy lunch here or in the countryside at a trattoria in the area with spectacular views. After lunch we will stop at another of our favorite wineries for a leisurely wine tasting before heading back at the end of the day. This tour is a perfect blend of food, wine, landscape & people.
