This is the perfect introduction tour to Florence, expecially if this is your first time in the city. We will see, from the outside the most important highlights of the city, talking about its history, art..but even about food and curious details that you will discover. We will do in a very relaxed way, walking, talking, stopping to take pictures…so enjoy it! And plus we will see the most important Italian art museum, the Uffizi gallery.
Please let me know if there are kids in the group so I could prepare some little activities for them.

Stop At: Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Della Repubblica, Florence Italy
Starting point of the tour. This is also the place where Florence was born in 59 BC.

Stop At: Piazza San Giovanni, 50123, Florence Italy
This is the religious heart of the city with the Baptistery, the Cathedral, the Paradise Gate, Brunelleschi’s Dome…what we call the Duomo Complex Area. This is an external visit as we won’t enter any monument because of the long lines at the entrance.

Stop At: Mercato del Porcellino, Piazza del Mercato Nuovo, Florence Italy
The popular street market with the famous fountain known for the coin tradition you have to follow if you would like to come back in Florence

The political heart of the city with Palazzo Vecchio, the copy of the David, the Loggia dei Lanzi…An incredible open air museum where we will talk about the importance of the Medici family for Florence

The oldest bridge in town, the Gold bridge…one of the iconic symbols of Florence…we will still talk about the Medici family, the history of this bridge, the only survived on after WWII….

Stop At: Gallerie Degli Uffizi, Piazzale Degli Uffizi 6, 50122, Florence Italy
We will visit the most important Italian art museum seeing the most important painting highlights just to name some Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo…seeing how Italian art changed the way to represent reality. Tickets for this museum are not included in the tour price, when you confirm the booking I will make the reservation for you and you will pay the tickets on site.
