Firenze Trip Overview

We meet the travelers in our agency via at 10:30 am. The guide will take you in a slow stroll walking till the Uffizi Gallery. During this stroll, we will guide you to admire the Palazzo Medici, the Baptistery, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. You will also enjoy the sight of Palazzo Vecchio. Here you will discover an open air museum with various architecture masterpieces.
At the Uffizi Gallery, your knowledgeable guide will explain the works of the greatest artists from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, paintings by Giotto, Masaccio, Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello… After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the gallery on your own.

Finally, we will meet the travelers in our office at 4 pm to visit Accademia Gallery. You will immerse yourself in Michelangelo’s art, including his most famous work, the statue of David. After the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the gallery on your own.

Palazzo Medici Riccardi was built for Cosimo il Vecchio by Michelozzo after 1444 as his town mansion on via Larga today via Cavour . Apart from the fine exterior, the main courtyard with classical relief in the tondi survives from this time , as well as Michelozzo’s lovely little chapel on the first floor and the frescoes Cosimo commissioned for it from Benozzo Gozzoli.

The religious center of this magnificent city. Here we will admire the Baptistery, Duomo-Cathedral, all of which are decorated with elaborate facades and marble panels.

The impressive 14th-century Palazzo Vecchio is still preeminent with its crenellated tower. The square is also shared with the Loggia della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, the Palace of the Tribunale della Mercanzia and the Palazzo Uguccioni ,with a facade attributed to Raphael, who however died thirty years before its construction.
