Firenze Trip Overview
Start your journey from Florence on board a comfortable minivan and reach the Chianti area (about 15min car drive). Once there, you’ll find your hybrid bikes (+ helmet) waiting for you.
You will admire vineyards and olive groves, medieval castles and hillside villas. Riding along green paths and romantic country roads, you’ll have the chance to explore the gentle hills around Florence, in the world-famous wine region of Chianti.
You will stop for a typical Tuscan lunch at a stunning private Chianti villa, where your guide will show you the vineyards, the ancient “cantina” and the traditional “Orciaia” (old oil jars storage) situated just underneath the medieval villa. You will also taste local wines and olive oils along with a multi-course lunch served in the wine cellar.
Towards the end of the tour you’ll ride downhill to the bike depot, where you’ll leave the bikes to go back to Florence!
