Day 1: City tour of Fermo and visit to a local oil mill with oil tasting

An underground complex that will allow you to discover an ancient Fermo. Here, in 40 A.D. rain and spring water was collected and purified for the town’s aqueduct

Piazza del Popolo represents the beating heart of Fermo with its suggestive arcades and unmistakable historical buildings.

a historic place in the city that dates back to the eighteenth century, with 124 stages on 5 orders and 350 square meters of stage

The room of the globe is the founding nucleus of the ancient Spezioli Library located in the Palazzo dei Priori di Fermo.

It is so called today because of the great world map placed there built in 1713 by the abbot Amanzio Moroncelli and the archpriest Filippantonio Morrone who was the client.

Dates back to 1296, former municipal residence. The building, restored in the first half of the fifteenth century and completed in 1525, has a double staircase in the center that climbs to an entrance portico on which the bronze statue of Sixtus V is placed, a sixteenth-century work by the Tuscan Accursio Baldi.

Food and wine tour to discover how quality extra virgin olive oil is born.

The extra virgin olive oil of the Marche, which obtained the PGI mark in 2017, derives from the great heritage of olive biodiversity and is characterized by low acidity, high number of polyphenols and medium-high oleic acid. Thanks to these characteristics it is classified among the best e.v.o. oils. Italian.

Description: Guided visit to a historic oil mill in the Tronto valley and illustration of all the stages of processing, from the harvest to the milling of the olives; the company guarantees the fundamental conditions for obtaining a high quality product. Among the products served during the final tasting, in addition to the fine extra virgin olive oil from Ascoli, there will be the products obtained from the transformation of the olives.

Day 2: Medieval villages tour

Food and wine and cultural tour to discover how the Maccheroncini di Campofilone are made and guided visit to the village from which they take their name.

Workshop dedicated to the queen of Marche pasta, also called “angel hair” for its delicacy and soft and incomparable flavor

Description: Visit to a farm where a workshop will be held on the preparation of macaroni according to the traditional recipe. During the rest period of the dough, along a suggestive path among ancient oaks, you will reach the village of Campofilone where you will visit the remains of the ancient Abbey, the church of San Bartolomeo and the Liturgical Archaeological Museum. At the end, tasting of macaroni with other house specialties and good wine produced on the farm.

Day 3: Visit to the Sanctuary of Loreto, walk to Sirolo and departure

It dates back to the fourth century, is a destination for continuous pilgrimages and considered the ” Lourdes ”Italian. The conviction of this miraculous “flying” translation pushed Pope Benedict XV to appoint the Blessed Virgin of Loreto “Patroness of all aeronautics”
