Hike the Etna Volcano to get to the summit craters of Mount Etna at about 3340 meters!
You will be hiking in full safety with a certified alpine and volcano guide, with whom you will marvel at the beauty and wonder of the highest active volcano in Europe, at 3.340 meters above the sea level.
Departing from Sapienza Refuge, in Nicolosi, the Cable Car will take you up to 2.504 meters. From this point you will be riding a 4×4 Jeep up to 2900 meters. Then you will hike to reach the altitude of 3.340 m.
Carried out a long pause near the craters, you will descend in direction of 2002 craters and before heading up again in cable car to the departure point in Refuge Sapienza.
The amount of Hiking involved is 1,5 hour uphill and 2 hours downhill.
The tour can be cancelled in case of adverse weather conditions. The itinerary up to 3340 m can be slightly modified depending on the volcanic activities, for security reasons.
