Let’s go to discover the Baroque Rome visiting world famous squares with your kids! A private guide will show you Rome and you will taste an excellent icecream
At 8.30 meet your private driver just outside the cruise ship. After about 1 hour driving, you’ll reach the heart of Rome, where you’ll meet your private tour guide for a tour designed for families with children.
We will provide to your kids a creative worksheet to best follow the guide, with a lot of games and riddles! Enjoy a private 3 hours walk in the centre of Rome, from Navona Square, one of the most elegant and lively piazzas of Rome. The piazza has three splendid fountains including that of the Quattro Fiumi (Four Rivers), for which Bernini was commissioned on the occasion of the Jubilee of 1650. Then we will go straight to arrive in S.Ignazio Square with the Rococò aspect by construction of a series of buildings similar to chests of drawers.
To complete the tour we will admire the last and very famous sample of the Roman Baroque period: the Trevi Fountain. The fountain which the film “La Dolce Vita” has given a sort of eternal place in the public imagination: the Fontana di Trevi. Here your kids can throw a coin in the fountain!
We will visit beautiful areas of the eternal city allowing mums, dads and strollers to move freely!After leaving your tour guide, you can enjoy a rest for lunch. Our driver will be happy to suggest you the best places for your break, that only locals known.
Finally enjoy a short ride with your driver, discovering the main squares of Rome like the Spanish Steps and Piazza S. Pietro, before heading back to the port.
