What to expect During this tour?

We will tell you a lot of stories, showing you hidden corners of this area, accessible only by water. On the half way we will stop for a snack, fruits and dry fruit, water. All along the trip you'll be paddling slightly pushed by the river, watching fishes and birds. Along the banks of the river natural areas we will find small villages, an ancient Roman aqueduct, ancient and newer bridges, some villas and castles. The 10 km paddling downstream are easy for anyone, beginners or expert, the river from Lucca will bring you slowly crossing the villages of Ponte San Pietro, Santa Maria a Colle, Nozzano Castello, until the old destroyed castle of Ripafratta with a small but beautiful waterfall.
