The Medieval Day is a fantastic combo with the possibility to explore the ancient roots of Sicily off the beaten path. History and spirituality are the highlights of this private tour. According to the option chosen, the activity will include the visit to the medieval Castle of Lauria and to the old Convent of Capuchins, where the friars still live. The Convent hosts an interesting museum of old Sicilian culture and a shop of specialties genuinely produced by the friars (ointments, oils, honey, marmalade, soaps, etc.). A light lunch with paired wine will be included. Private transport is included and pick-up point can be arranged accordingly.
