Catania Trip Overview
One of Etna Experience’s expert naturalistic guides will pick you up at 9:00 a.m. from your hotel in Catania or from an agreed meeting point, to take you aboard one of our 8-seater vehicles (jeep or minivan).
Your guide will lead you to discover the beautiful city of Zafferana Etnea, repeatedly touched by the lava of Etna and which has become the Sicilian capital of honey.After that, at about 11.00/11.30 AM you will get to the first winery, where you will start with the Etna Wine tasting; also, you will have an aperitif based on local products. Next, during a walk through the vineyards, you will learn about their production.So you will visit the second winery, where you will enjoy a full lunch with fresh and local products. An appetizer (cheeses, salami, olives, fresh bread and so on), a first dish and a second, all combined with 3 Etna Doc wines (one white and two reds). After lunch you will visit the vineyards, so you can explore the interesting world of the natural wine.

Trekking up to 2000 meters on the Northern-East side of the Etna, accompained by our guide.
Visit of a cave of volcanic origins with the equipment provided by us (helmets and torches).

Visit a local farm in the village of Zafferana Etnea, where you can taste typical products like honey, creams, marmalades.
