Itna is an immense reserve of hidden corners and oases to visit at least once in a lifetime. Places full of charm that enchant hikers and photographers. As you venture out on Mount Etna bushes alternate. Etna housed a very rich fauna that also included the otter, the wolf, the wild boar, the roe deer, the deer etc. species now disappeared.
The mammals are present: the fox, the wild cat, the porcupine, several weasels and dormice, as well as rabbits and hares.
As for the birds you can meet the red woodpecker, the magpie, the jay, pairs of imperial crows, crows, wood pigeons and rock partridges. In the high altitudes you can still see the golden eagle.

Itinerary
Etna National Park in the territory of Belpasso but closer to Ragalna. The excursion is accessible to everyone and for boys and girls from 12 years. Lava flows and dense forests of chestnut, oak and oak trees. There will be some uphill stretches, others downhill and others with uneven terrain.
