Camogli Trip Overview

A path that will lead you to the discovery of Camogli, the most beautiful and romantic village of Golfo Paradiso, with its tower houses, painted with bright pastel colors and its typical Ligurian old town.
You can visit the sea museum Museo Marinaro “Giò Bono Ferrari” which includes nautical-related objects such as scale models of sailing ships and ships, nautical instruments for navigation as well as prints and paintings of the time.
A pleasant walk along the typical Ligurian paths will take you to San Rocco di Camogli giving you a breathtaking view of the whole gulf. Along the way you can taste the typical gallette del marinaio (“sailor’s biscuits”)
In the afternoon descent to Punta Chiappa, the singular tongue of rock that extends over the sea, passing through a path that allows the visit of the church of San Nicolò, a charming little church built by the monks of San Rufo. At the end, boarding the boat to return to Camogli. During the transfer you will see one of the oldest Ligurian tonnara (tuna fishery).

You can visit the sea museum Museo Marinaro “Giò Bono Ferrari” which includes nautical-related objects, from the French domination of Napoleon Bonaparte until the First World War, such as scale models of sailing ships and ships, nautical instruments for navigation as well as prints and paintings of the time (depending on opening hours).
