Bracciano Trip Overview
Come and experience the unique activity of truffle hunting in the Italian woods, followed by an organic cooking class. Our Truffle Hunting Master will introduce you to his dogs and then you’ll help search for the elusive fungi. He’ll then teach you various ways of using this highly prized delicacy of the food world in a meal that will be prepared this afternoon.
You’ll learn more cooking skills the following day with a wine paired organic cooking class at the Villa. Plus, you have time to either chill out or explore the local area, including the town of Bracciano and the lake named after it.

What to Expect When Visiting Bracciano, Lazio, Italy

Itinerary
Day 1: Meet your Truffle Hunting master, hunt and cook today
Pass By: Bracciano, Bracciano, Province of Rome, Lazio
Arrive in the quaint town of Bracciano where we will meet you and your fellow Travellers at the Train Station, before we whisk you off for truffle hunting. You’ll have time to explore this town the following day at your leisure.
Stop At: Manziana, Manziana, Province of Rome, Lazio
You accommodation is located in the cute town of Manziana, a short drive from Bracciano. Enjoy the views out towards Lago di Bracciano from your Villa.
Duration: 7 hours
Meals included:
• Lunch: Organic cooking class with your Truffle Hunter – learn how to cook with the highly prized truffles!
Accommodation included: Stay in the 3-star Villa Clodia. Enjoy the pool and lovely views towards Lake Bracciano.
Day 2: Free morning then another cooking class. Time to chill or explore this evening.
Stop At: Bracciano, Bracciano, Province of Rome, Lazio
Either chillax at the Villa and enjoy the pool (season dependent) in the morning, or chose to head into the nearby town of Bracciano – here you can see Castello Orsini-Odescalchi, where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married at. You can always pop down to Lago di Bracciano and see the 8th largest lake in Italy and explore the cafes along the lake front. The lake still provides drinking water to the city of Rome and therefore has very little in the way of motorised traffic on the lake.

• Lunch: This afternoon, enjoy another cooking class at the Villa, paired with Wine Tasting.
Accommodation included: Stay in the 3-star Villa Clodia. Enjoy the pool and lovely views towards Lake Bracciano.
Day 3: Breakfast and transfer to Bracciano Station
Stop At: Bracciano, Bracciano, Province of Rome, Lazio
After breakfast, we’ll drop you at Bracciano train station where you can either explore the town and lake more or head back to Rome at your leisure.
