Getting back in our minivan we drive along a panoramic section of the lake shore with spectacular view heading toward a restaurant possibly where they serve some local dishes (on your own expenses, average € 30 per person) and after that we explore the nearby off-the-beaten-path region nestled in the breathtaking Alps mountains where sometimes we are able to do a short visit of a small local farmer or producer. Finally we will drive along another section of the Lake and at some point we take the train for the return to Milan Central station.

In Bellagio you can admire the fantastic panorama of Lake Como and also walk through the splendid gardens of Villa Melzi. The guided tour will be walking across the downtown, then we will see the gardens of villa Melzi, later by a ten minutes trip to cross the lake by public ferry boat we will go to the town of Varenna visiting first the splendid Villa Monastero and later the medieval church of St. Jakob and the downtown of Varenna. Please take note that the entrance tickets to all villas and all ferry boat transfers are not included in the price of the guided tour and must be paid at local cash desks. On this full-day tour you will see the picturesque villages of Varenna and Bellagio. We will meet at 10:30 am in Como city and go with the fast boat/hydrofoil directly to Bellagio (50 min). There, we will do a walking tour. After a break for lunch, we will take a ferry to Varenna (15 min). Then, we will return with hydrofoil boat to Como showing you all the villages with their historic villas and famous gardens on Lake Como during the trip, e.g. Villa of G. Clooney, Villa Balbianello (Star Wars and James Bond), Villa Carlotta etc.

At 9:30 starts our walking tour from Tremezzo, typical village looking the central part of the lake, in front of Bellagio and Varenna. We walk from Tremezzo to Ossuccio through an ancient connection road, the "Greenway of the lake" discovering gentle paths, hidden corners of local history and enchanting lake views. We reach Ossuccio and from there the Comacina island by public boat. Comacina island is the only one island of Lake Como, one of the most interesting archeological sites in northern Italy for the early Middle Ages. From Comacina Island return trip by public boat to Ossuccio, from Ossuccio by walk to Villa Balbianello, in Lenno. Villa Balbianello is located on a wooded promontory on Como lake.
