From the ferry, we follow a almost flat pedestrian path, overlooking the Como lake, called “Passerella degli Innamorati”(lovers’ catwalk) to reach the magnificent Villa Monastero. It will be the opportunity, through a guided nature walk, to discover the ecosystem of water with its many inhabitants, including grebes, coots, swans and ducks
Our nature walk continues along the path called “Greenway of the Patriarchs” to discover other secrets of nature. We will pass from the famous cemetery of the English and from the strange and mysterious geological phenomenon of Fiumelatte
In the afternoon, return to Varenna and guided naturalistic visit to the splendid gardens of the Villa Monastero and its interiors.
