This wildlife viewing excursion takes you on a journey to see two of the major highlights in Southeast Alaska. You will be guided to the Mendenhall Glacier for a 45 minute self-exploration followed by our wildlife whale watching tour. Once you have had a chance to explore the glacier park on your own, we will take you to the whale watching harbor where you will come aboard one of our state-of-the-art vessels to search for majestic Humpback Whales and other water wildlife we may find along the way. Our expert captains and naturalists are so familiar with these amazing creatures that we can actually guarantee you will see whales in their natural habitat from a safe distance. We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessels have indoor seating and outdoor seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. A half hour fun boat ride through the mangroves takes you to Monkey River village where you head upriver into pristine rain forest. Expect to see crocodiles, huge iguanas on tree branches sunning themselves, turtles, and many species of tropical birds. Upriver, your licensed guide will lead you into the rain forest in search of howler monkeys. Nothing you read could prepare you for the adventure of hearing these monkeys for the first time…you just have to experience it! On this mellow hike, your guide will also point out the different plants and trees many of which are used as medicine by local bush doctors. As your hike through the jungle further from the river you may spot gibnuts (now known as royal rat since Queen Elizabeth dined on it), deer, ocelots, peccaries, tapirs, coatimundis and agoutis. Buy a genuine Kriol lunch at Miss Alice’s restaurant in Monkey River before heading out on a manatee watch on the way back to Placencia.

Enjoy pickup from your Victoria Falls hotels then head to the waterfront of the vibrant Zambezi River where your vessel for the evening awaits. The tour begins with a friendly greeting from the staff and a welcome drink as well as freshly prepared canapés. The cruise then sets sails upstream along the mighty Zambezi River, the fourth-longest river in Africa. From the boat, admire the array of wildlife that flourishes along the river and watch out for elephants bathing on the riverbanks, crocodiles lazing on the water, and hippos submerging here and there. As the sun begins to set, watch as the surrounding landscape is transformed by the colors of the sky, and soak up the incredible atmosphere of the river. Next, head back towards the imposing Victoria Falls and see its spray in the distance. Kuiburi National Park is the only place in Thailand where more than 320 protected wild elephants live and you will have the unique 99% opportunity to see them in this untouched wildlife. In addition to Asian elephants and gaurs, the other relatively common mammals are golden jackals, various deer, langurs, white-handed gibbons, Burmese hares, Malay porcupines and wild boars. Kui Buri has a rich fauna of birds with over 260 species currently. Crested falcons, grey peacock pheasants, ferrous partridges, Tickell's brown hornbills, white-crowned hornbills, brown fish owls, yellow-ventilated green pigeons, white-fronted dwarf-eared owls, mustache hawks, red-necked hornbills, blue-collared parrots, chestnut-nickel fork tails, red-bearded bee-eaters, maroon woodpeckers.There are also birds like the Crested Fireback, Indian Roller and Asian Openbill bird or even gaurs and leopards.

Our Winter and Summer Safaris are led by a wildlife biologist with years of experience guiding in Yellowstone. During the Winter we will focus on wolf watching, viewing moose, bison, elk, coyote, etc. We will depart your accommodations and head towards Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in the world, it harbors impressive bison herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. Visitors are likely to depart from the park’s northern lands with at least one, if not more, checks on their wildlife card. Wild and pristine. When thinking about Yellowstone, a vast and amazing back-country, large carnivores, bison herds, iconic geysers, and geothermal features fill the imagination. Weather permitting we will stop to take fun family friendly hike or two to a secluded lake or waterfall. Mid way through the tour we will stop for lunch at a scenic area. Time permitting we will walk the boardwalks of Mammoth Hot Springs. Hot coco and coffee is provided!
