Visit the famous Roatan Chocolate Factory and learn to make chocolate from scratch! This is a unique tour in the island! You will learn about the process of chocolate making and will create your own chocolate bar that you will take home! This activity is an authentic Honduran experience, it’s family friendly and perfect for couples, solo travelers and anyone who loves chocolate. Note: Classes are scheduled based on availability and your needs, usually starting at 2:00pm. We do the classes based on reservations. If you're visiting Roatan on a cruise, we have to make sure that we can schedule the class and bring you back to the ship on time. For cruisers, we’ll try to arrive at the factory as early as possible. Therefore, we ask for you to disembark as soon as your ship arrives. If we can’t host it in the am, we can also pick you up before class start time and go sightseeing and/or do another activity or tour! This is a unique fun activity for all the family to experience where you get to feed the pigs, pet them, hold them, swim with them, and enjoy the beautiful turquoise clear waters of the Bahamas. You will be interacting with the pigs, up close and personal. After Swimming with the Pigs, you do have the option to Snorkel/Swim with the Turtles. Rental snorkel equipment is available at an additional cost. Afterwards, we tour West End, where you can try the best conch fritters and fresh conch salad on the waterfront in the oldest settlement and visit the Old Bahama Bay Resort and Marina.

As night falls, West End Village becomes a flurry of activity with Happy Hours, live bands and restaurant specials. On most any day of the week there will be a local band playing, karaoke nights, dancing and D.J.’d music. Many of the annual celebrations such as Semana Santa (Easter week), and the Fishing Tournament (September) are held here. This is the best place on the island for nightlife as once you arrive there you have the option of bar hopping. At one bar we will include a welcome tequila shot. One thing to note as you walk down the main road in West End their will be lots of food vendors selling local Honduran food which you are welcome to try (not included in package)
