This is a self-guided tour. Discover the marvelous Villa del Balbianello by reaching it on board the public boat of the navigation of Lake Como, departing from the main towns: Bellagio, Varenna, Tremezzo, Como and Cernobbio! Once in Lenno it will be possible to reach Villa del Balbianello with a walk of about 30 minutes. Ideal tour for those who want to visit the famous Villa without being in too much of a hurry and moving with the public navigation service.

We will meet the travellers in front of the ferry boat ticket office /BIGLIETTERIA at 10:30 am. From Como we will take the fast boat/hydrofoil to Lenno, where Villa Balbianello is located (30 min). This villa and its gardens were the setting place for Star Wars and James Bond Casino Royal. Experience peace and immense beauty of nature. This instagramable spot will give you unforgettable memories! From Lenno we will have a 20 min. boat trip to Bellagio, where we will do a pleasant walking tour. We will return with the slow boat (2 h), to have a chance to show you the most beautiful villas on the lake. This is an exclusive tour with max 8 participants (in case of a single booking more than six persons are allowed).

Experience unique natural beauty, as you cruise down the lake from Bellagio through the very center and beating heart of Lake Como. Admire the XIX villas and noble mansions. Satisfy your curiosity about the architectural features, culture and history of Villa Balbianello stepping off the boat for a 1h guided tour of it, one of the main tourist attractions of Lake Como, built on a suggestive promontory overlooking the lake. Set for numerous film scripts: the second episode of the Star Wars saga (2002) and Martin Campbell's Casino Royale with the charming James Bond. The tour ends at the Villa giving you the opportunity to have lunch at one of the many enchanting lakeside restaurants in Lenno. Frequent are the public boats that will take you back to Bellagio.

At 9:30 starts our walking tour from Tremezzo, typical village looking the central part of the lake, in front of Bellagio and Varenna. We walk from Tremezzo to Ossuccio through an ancient connection road, the "Greenway of the lake" discovering gentle paths, hidden corners of local history and enchanting lake views. We reach Ossuccio and from there the Comacina island by public boat. Comacina island is the only one island of Lake Como, one of the most interesting archeological sites in northern Italy for the early Middle Ages. The area, called Zoca de l'Oli for its mild climate, is covered by mediterranean vegetation and olive trees for the production of local oil. From Comacina Island return trip by public boat to Ossuccio, from Ossuccio by walk to Villa Balbianello, in Lenno. Villa Balbianello is located on a wooded promontory on Como lake. This elegant, romantic 18th century mansion and its magnificent garden have hosted writers and travelers, including Guido Monzino, the last owner.

On this full-day tour you will see the picturesque villages of Varenna and Bellagio. We will meet at 10:30 am in Como city and go with the fast boat/hydrofoil directly to Bellagio (50 min). There, we will do a walking tour. After a break for lunch, we will take a ferry to Varenna (15 min). Then, we will return with hydrofoil boat to Como showing you all the villages with their historic villas and famous gardens on Lake Como during the trip, e.g. Villa of G. Clooney, Villa Balbianello (Star Wars and James Bond), Villa Carlotta etc.
