DEPARTURE FROM PADUA OR ABANO / MONTEGROTTO TERME We will first set out for the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio, an immense symbolic garden dating back to the 17th century, which a few years ago was named the Most Beautiful Park in Italy, completely surrounded by the verdant panorama and gentle curves of the Euganean Hills. Here water features, tree-lined avenues, fountains, an intricate labyrinth and statues combine harmoniously in an allegorical path of ‘Salvation’ along which the visitor, passing through various stages, from the Portal of Diana to the Statue of Winged Time to the Dolphin Fountain, is guided in the symbolic liberation from sins. We will then move on to visit Villa dei Vescovi in Luvigliano di Torreglia: a precious gem set in the Euganean Hills, an ancient holiday residence of the high prelates of Padua dating back to the first half of the 16th century.

With this tour you will have the opportunity to combine two views of the villas and castles of the Euganean Hills in the company of a local guide and on board our comfortable minivan. In the fascinating setting of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, these prestigious historic homes embellish the area with their beauty. It will be an opportunity to learn about their history, visit the frescoed rooms, walk in the elegant gardens. A tour of labyrinths. This tour will take you to three of the most beautiful labyrinths in the Veneto region: the labyrinth in the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio, the labyrinth in the Castle of San Pelagio, and the largest lavender labyrinth in Italy. You can enjoy your tour as a playful, leisurely experience among the intricate hedges and grassy corridors, or as an introspective experience, reflecting on the symbolism of the places you visit. The three stages of the tour are, in fact, reminiscent of the three stages of Dante's famous journey: hell, purgatory and paradise.
