A full day trip in the landscape of the rolling Chianti hills with a private tour, surrounded by cypress avenues, medieval villages. sunflower fields, tasting the best wines of our region. Leave the confusion of the city and relax in the hills tasting Chianti wine •Meet the driver at your hotel or other chosen location •Cross the rolling hills of Chianti, among olive groves, cypresses & vineyards •Visit to the magnificent Towers of San Gimignano and the historic centre, with its typical artisan shops •For lunch we will move to a real family-run Tuscan farm, which follows the rules of Tuscan authenticity, to understand the secrets of wine production and enjoy a lunch with homemade pasta and 6 wine tastings •After lunch visit to the wonderful Medieval Castle of Monteriggioni •On the way back you will have a second wine tasting at another local Chianti winery where you will taste the famous Chianti Classico Gallo Nero wine •The return is expected by 5.00 pm

Compared to public transport, using a private transfer you won't have to adhere to strict schedules or, if you miss your connection, wait in crowded places for more than an hour. You will be greeted by our English speaking driver who will be happy to answer your questions and give you advice on what to do once you reach your destination. San Gimignano, a small Tuscan town with a perfectly preserved center dated back to the Middle Ages, except for some 19th and 20th-century renovations. The village stands on a high hill in Val d’Elsa, surrounded by almost two kilometers long walls with five Entrance Gates.

Your driver will come to your accommodation around 930 to whisk you off to your first wine tour and tasting. During the day we will escort you to three wineries to see the differences in production methods and sample each wineries products. A lunch stop will be included at a local restaurant with the tour continuing after lunch. If you have a preference for smaller, less known producers let me know at time of booking and I will concentrate the afternoons bookings with this in mind. Suitable for 1 to 8 people. All the toponymy here speaks of food, just think of the names of alleys such as Malcucinato or Salecotto. Not to mention the wine: in the province of Siena there are 5 D.O.C.G. and 14 D.O.C. 3-course lunch in a selected trattoria or tavern to savor the historic dishes of Siena. Today we will spend a day in one of the most famous Wine Regions in the World, the Bolgheri DOC where excellent wines are produced. Today we will visit 2 wineries we selected for you (top wineries) and we will stop for lunch in the village of Bolgheri (or one of the wonderful restaurants in the surroundings of Bolgheri).
