Tasting Guided

Enjoy over 145 years of brewing history as the guides take you through the interactive brewery tour. Learn in a guided small group with a maximum of 15 travelers about all of the ingredients that go into the award-winning brews and hear about the state of the art brewing process used today. The tour ends with a tasting, where you’ll get to enjoy samples of the beer as the knowledgeable guides talk you through the different styles and flavors in the range.

Learn about the origins of sugar cane production across the world and uncover how it's evolution influenced our modern-day styles of rum. Explore the art and chemistry behind the fermentation, distillation, and aging processes, and the specific techniques employed in our process to make such a distinctive rum. Sample a variety of award-winning rums and discover your favorites! All are carefully hand-crafted on site and harness the vibrant sugar cane industry of Louisiana. Meet and speak with the actual rum makers as we give you a behind-the-scenes look at this time-honored process.

An immersive wine and art experience in the unique Amarone Venetian Villa and Chateau built between the 1500 and 1700’s at the center of Valpolicella’s history. You will taste the award-winning wines of brothers Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani, whose family is among the founders of the wine region. Your guide will take you through the splendid neoclassical architecture, frescoed rooms, romantic gardens and the ancient vineyards of the Clos. The visit will continue on to the natural grape drying rooms, the original vinification area of the Amarone Classico Riserva, and down to the monumental ageing cellars with barrels that are over two hundred years old. Each tour will include a seated wine tasting.

Our Old Frascati Farmhouse & tasting room embodies the atmosphere of the frascette with local snacks and wines in the middle of a Roman vineyard. You'll be met at the vineyard with snacks and a house wine ready to start the tour immediately. First, you'll have a walking tour of the vines to see stunning views of the Roman countryside. At the farmhouse, you will try 3 amazing local wines from the winery next door along with local snacks and salumi. At the end, you'll also have coffee and a local liquor to finish your tasting. The location of our farmhouse makes it accessible directly from the train station without the need for other transportation. Because we are reachable by train (and a 5-minute walk) it's the most sustainable wine tour in the area. On Sundays it will be necessary to come by car as there is a very limited train schedule on this day.

We will dive into coffee with this roasting session. From farm to green bean to roasting, we will talk about all the aspects of coffee. While roasting, the guide will teach how roasting impacts flavors and what we are aiming with this process, and by the end of the session we will taste the roasted coffee to access it´s flavor and each person will bring the coffee home with instructions to taste it throught the weeks and access it´s qualities as it improves and degrades with time.

Old Kempton Distillery, situated in Dysart House, Kempton Tasmania is full of history and amazing whisky. Learn the stories of Dysart House, visit our fully functioning distillery and get a unique guided tasting of our products. Dysart house, Kempton, has been home to Old Kempton Distillery since November 2015. On site we make a variety of spirits including; single malt whisky, gin, and liqueurs. All made using 100% Tasmanian ingredients. The Cafe, full of house made treats, is open 10am until 4pm as is the Cellar Door – full of Tasmanian produce, our spirits and local wines.
