You have never seen the Upper Maremma like this: Casadei in Suvereto is a garden-estate where, through sustainable, organic and biodynamic agriculture, we produce quality wines, an expression of an authentically Tuscan territory. Our elegant carriage, open to the side, can accommodate up to 8 people.

Your driver will come to your accommodation around 930 to whisk you off to your first wine tour and tasting. During the day we will escort you to three wineries to see the differences in production methods and sample each wineries products. A lunch stop will be included at a local restaurant with the tour continuing after lunch. If you have a preference for smaller, less known producers let me know at time of booking and I will concentrate the afternoons bookings with this in mind. Suitable for 1 to 8 people. We provide the driver/vehicle, winery tickets & the knowledge you need. Tour approx. 930 thru 530pm. Lunch stop included in the tour (cost of lunch not included). This is the tour of the most ancient Etruscan and Roman Maremma which has remained intact over time. The Middle Ages are well represented both in Pitigliano and in Sovana. We explore Pitigliano, a city "excavated" in the tuff that stands on a natural platform. The city is called "Little Jerusalem" because it hosted an important Jewish community twice. Author's trekking at the historic cellar of Montalcino This is a path in the Brunello vineyards along which there are the dedications of the winners of the "Casato Prime Donne Award" and the works of contemporary Tuscan artists. Among them Marco Pignattai, Rossana Mulinari, Bruno Bruchi and Giovanni Senatore, Alessandro Grazi, Orlando Orlandini, Stefano Carlucci, Jeff Shapiro … Typical Tuscan lunch in the tasting room of the cellar in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of traditional Tuscan houses. The tables are set with the "old Ginori" dishes typical of Tuscany. Bread and peasant vegetable soups, cured meats and pecorino cheeses, black crostino alla Senese and seasonal vegetables will be served, and to conclude a traditional dessert. Including an Orcia Doc and a Brunello served in crystal goblets. Short movement and reaching the dairy. Visit with explanation of the 11 cheeses that we are going to taste.

Today we will spend a day in one of the most famous Wine Regions in the World, the Bolgheri DOC where excellent wines are produced. Today we will visit 2 wineries we selected for you (top wineries) and we will stop for lunch in the village of Bolgheri (or one of the wonderful restaurants in the surroundings of Bolgheri). A unique experience for first time travellers but also for those who wants to spend a day away from big crowds. A relaxing day in Tuscany…Wine…Food…and the relaxing sound of Nature..

Pleasant tour in medieval history to discover unique monuments. The entrance to the Duomo will be unforgettable to admire all its magnificence and harmony. The history and ancient traditions of the kitchen will become very familiar to you, so much so that you can reproduce the recipes even at home. Sienese cuisine is patriarchal, it comes from the countryside. In many respects it is similar to the Tuscan one, but if we think of vegetable soups: in Siena they prepared them with a few more aromatic herbs, such as calamint, thyme, ginger, which give a symphony of smells and flavours. Here the dishes are called godende. The Sienese love everything that belongs to the table and its pleasures. All the toponymy here speaks of food, just think of the names of alleys such as Malcucinato or Salecotto. Not to mention the wine: in the province of Siena there are 5 D.O.C.G. and 14 D.O.C. 3-course lunch in a selected trattoria or tavern to savor the historic dishes of Siena. Directly from your accommodation in Lucca or Pisa we will spend a wonderful day away from big crowds. We will visit 2 amazing areas, Volterra known for its incredible location and ancient architecture and Bolgheri, charming villages surrounded by the best wineries in our Country! This is a great tour to have an introduction to our history and culture, enjoying amazing scenarios and countryside. Upon request you might opt for a visit to a winery for wine tastings (cost of the winery is not included in our rate and will have to be paid directly on spot!)

Here you will have free time to explore the village on your own, our driver will recommend you what to do and see! Around lunch time we will head to our selected winery in the Chianti Region for a delicious lunch with lots of wines….and more!
