Sinnai - I Love Italy

Sinnai

Sinnai Civic Museum

We want to share with you a definition of museum in which we believe a lot, so as to understand what a visit to MuA can mean: It is a place of sharing, learning and education for the community and the community, through events, exhibitions, workshops and courses. It is a space without borders or barriers in which anyone has access to content, activities and stimuli. A space for everyone, therefore, a place where each of us can and must find ourselves. A meeting and sharing place where archeology, history and art are not only themes of exhibited objects but rather a vehicle and a stimulus for the creation of relationships and a critical spirit.

Cooking class: Learn how to make traditional Sardinian bread.

I was born around flours, inside a bakery with the smell of freshly baked bread. My Dad is a baker, my brother too: I love bread and I want to share my knowledge with you. How many types of bread we produce in our land? Together we will discover the dough, the shapes and the stories of bread in Sardinia. How is the experience? The First step consists in knowing the recipe and the different types of flours. Next, we prepare the dough and then we realize a variety of typical bread shapes, specifically: “su coccoi”. At the end, we cook the bread in the oven and we taste it together with some cheeses and a glass of wine.
