Here the dishes are called godende. The Sienese love everything that belongs to the table and its pleasures. All the toponymy here speaks of food, just think of the names of alleys such as Malcucinato or Salecotto. Not to mention the wine: in the province of Siena there are 5 D.O.C.G. and 14 D.O.C. 3-course lunch in a selected trattoria or tavern to savor the historic dishes of Siena. Your driver will come to your accommodation around 930 to whisk you off to your first wine tour and tasting. During the day we will escort you to three wineries to see the differences in production methods and sample each wineries products. A lunch stop will be included at a local restaurant with the tour continuing after lunch. If you have a preference for smaller, less known producers let me know at time of booking and I will concentrate the afternoons bookings with this in mind. Suitable for 1 to 8 people.
