RAGUSA Ibla/MODICA: Free visit of Ragusa Ibla, the oldest part of the city, where most of the Baroque churches and buildings are concentrated. You will visit the Portal of St.Giorgio, the Hyblean Garden, the church of S. Giuseppe, Palazzo Arezzo, the Circle of Conversation and the Splendid Cathedral of San Giorgio. Continue to Modica, the ancient capital of the county of the same name. Starting from the scenic Cathedral of San Giorgio, located in the upper part of the town, through picturesque alleys and steps you will reach Modica Bassa to visit the baroque church of San Pietro, Palazzo Tedeschi, the Garibaldi theater. You will visit Ragusa Ibla, with its alleyways and beautiful churches; Modica, famous around the world for chocolate prepared according to an ancient Aztec recipe; During the visit there will be a sweet break in a famous workshop, where the chocolate is still prepared according to the original recipe, imported from the Spanish people in 1500. Tour in the workshop and then tasting of the famous chocolate of Modica.

The Barocco transfer includes: Departure at 8.30 am, arrival in Ragusa Ibla 10.00 am (stop of about 2 hours). Departure for Modica – during the journey we will make a small stop of about 40 min. for a tasting of the famous Modica Chocolate. Departure for Noto (stop of about 2 hours + lunch break). Return to Syracuse. Our cars are registered for public use, equipped with the required municipal permits and have free access to limited traffic areas and to preferential lanes in all cities. This experience includes the self-guided tour of the Baroque cities. The tour lasts 8 hours and includes transport only, you will have about 1 hour and 30 to visit each city. You will meet your driver in Syracuse and start the tour with a visit to the beautiful Baroque city of Noto. At the end of the visit, among breathtaking landscapes made of large canyons, steep cliffs and wooded areas of olive and carob groves you will continue towards Ragusa Ibla where you will have free time to visit this beautiful village. As a last stop you will go to Modica where you can discover the chocolate workshops and do some shopping.

the tour includes visits to the beautiful Sicilian Baroque cities, which are also World Heritage Sites (UNESCO) we will leave Syracuse (preferably in the morning) with first stop in Noto, nestled among the rolling hills of Sicily, characterized by its sumptuous Baroque palaces and imposing churches, living testimonies of the art and architecture of the period, we will then go to Modica, which with its intricate alleys and majestic churches, enchants visitors with the opulence and grace of the Baroque, expressed through ornate facades and refined decorative details (it will also be possible to visit the Modica Chocolate workshop and there will also be a stop for free lunch), finally we will go to Ragusa Ibla to the Iblei gardens, overlooking a breathtaking panorama, capturing the attention with its Baroque buildings that climb along the slopes creating a suggestive mosaic of architectural elegance and history.

We will head towards the capital of Baroque: Noto. You will visit the Cathedral of San Nicolò, whose construction began at the end of 1600 and the most important building which is Palazzo Ducezio, seat of the town hall, built in 1700.  A few steps away there is Via Nicolaci, famous throughout the world for the Infiorata.
