Spend half a day in the most famous wine region in the world (Chianti), tasting 5 of the best tuscan wines and visit the medieval village of San Gimignano, known worldwide for its tall towers. Be guided through the verdant landscape of the "Sweet Hills of Chianti" on a private tour, tasting Chianti Classico wine and other famous Tuscan wines, such as "Super Tuscan" and "Vernaccia", at a family-run winery. Learn basic winemaking techniques and discover the legend of the "Black Rooster" (symbol of Chianti). Afterwards we will visit the famous village of San Gimignano, a medieval open-air museum, where the population still lives in the beautiful towers. San Gimignano, a small Tuscan town with a perfectly preserved center dated back to the Middle Ages, except for some 19th and 20th-century renovations. The village stands on a high hill in Val d’Elsa, surrounded by almost two kilometers long walls with five Entrance Gates.

Half day e-bike tour in the land of Brunello starting from the medieval town of Montalcino. The e-bike tour is set on the southern part of Montalcino and Brunello region, riding on paved and gravel roads, through vineyards and woods. Before the wine tour and tasting you'll visit the Abbey of Sant'Antimo, one of the most significant Romanesque monuments and a significant example of the monastic building of the early twelfth century. We'll stop in a local Brunello winery for a wine tour and tasting, during the visit the wine making process is explained (harvest, fermentation, bottling, storage). At the end of the tour you'll taste 3 wines with a light lunch of cold cuts and cheese.

Your driver will come to your accommodation around 930 to whisk you off to your first wine tour and tasting. During the day we will escort you to three wineries to see the differences in production methods and sample each wineries products. A lunch stop will be included at a local restaurant with the tour continuing after lunch. If you have a preference for smaller, less known producers let me know at time of booking and I will concentrate the afternoons bookings with this in mind. Suitable for 1 to 8 people.
