The first leg of the tour is an uphill, 1.2–1.5 mile trek through a wide, open, unpaved dirt trail to the summit of the mountain. Depending on the group's hiking skills, it takes this route between one and one and a half hours to reach the summit. We'll stop at a number of other lovely locations along the way, including the Griffith Observatory and the Bronson Caves.
