Here you will also discover the grape harvesting technique that distinguishes us: the THREE HARVEST METHOD. 2) Visit of the winery where I will show you the winemaking techniques we use. 3) Tasting of 4 wines from our production, accompanied by a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses. Meet the wine expert in Verona, explore the Valpolicella valleys and taste local wines like the famous Amarone and Ripasso in two traditional wineries of Valpolicella region. The wine experience will start with a visit to a fascinating and family-run winery located in the heart of Valpolicella. Here, the winemaker will show you the wine cellar and tell you the secrets of the production. Then, you will enjoy a wine tasting, including the great Amarone, paired with some local products. After taking some stunning pictures of the cellar and vineyards you will depart to reach the second winery where you will have more tastings and compare the aromas of the wines. Here, the winemaker will welcome you telling the story of the family-run business and its value for the territory. Finally, you’ll understand why Verona is the wine capital of Italy: an incredible territory made of small and high quality winemakers who produce an amazing product with passion.

Join an unforgettable tour in our family Winery with the winemaker! We are a Winery boutique in the heart of Valpolicella and we organize activities to share our passion for Valpolicella and Amarone wines with our guests (we offer it directly, without intermediaries or tour operator). We’ll start with a walk in the vineyard, telling you the family history about the winery and the estates. You’ll learn how to dry Amarone grapes in the traditional drying room, a process called Appassimento. You'll visit our rural house and the cellar from the 17th century used for winemaking and refinement. At the conclusion, the tasting of a selection of our fine wines Valpolicella, RIPASSO and the great AMARONE, learning how to evaluate them by sight, smell and taste. You’ll also enjoy our organic EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, local cheeses called Monte Veronese and Soppressa Valpolicella (a kind of salami). We’ll be waiting for you on our amazing terrace with a stunning view of the Valpolicella!

Arriving in the cellar, you will be greeted by a glass of welcome of Custoza DOC. After a brief account of the company philosophy of Giovanna Tantini, and of the path made in these years, there will be a visit to the winery. You will be taken to the jeep for a tour through the vineyards where you will be explained the history of the vineyards, the typical grapes of Garda territory, its characteristics, and the different processes of processing the green for the preparation of the grapes before the harvest. After the tour through the vineyards, you will participate in a guided tasting of the other 3 DOC of Lake Garda: Chiaretto DOC, Corvina Garda DOC (MA.GI.CO.) and Bardolino DOC, wines produced by Giovanna.
