We will pick you up at the Frascati Station and show you all the amazing corners in town. Then it will be time to reach our old wine cellar, where our family started with wine production. Sip two types of our family’s best wines pairing with local meats and cheese. Next all the necessary for making pasta will be ready, so it will be your turn to get your hands dirty. Wearing apron and mixing all the ingredients together while drinking wine you’ll turned up with your own handcrafted pasta. So it will be magical to see what happened, your pasta will be cooked with your favourite Roman Sauce and that’s it! You’ll be ready to enjoy your own pasta sipping wine and relaxing. You won’t leave our place before not have visited our wine cave!

Begin with learning how make tiramisù, following traditional recipes using all ingredients- mascarpone, eggs, coffee sugar and cocoa powder and tools needed. Following this, learn the secrets that go into making two types of pasta – fettuccine and ravioli from scratch. From creating the perfect dough from scratch to understanding the best ingredients used that seasons offer for toppings / stuffing. The olive oil is extra virgin and cold pressed. The pasta is all hand-made. Our wine is still made with ancient techniques first used by the Romans. Our Old Frascati Farmhouse & tasting room embodies the atmosphere of the frascette with local snacks and wines in the middle of a Roman vineyard. You'll be met at the vineyard with snacks and a house wine ready to start the tour immediately. First, you'll have a walking tour of the vines to see stunning views of the Roman countryside. At the farmhouse, you will try 3 amazing local wines from the winery next door along with local snacks and salumi. At the end, you'll also have coffee and a local liquor to finish your tasting. The location of our farmhouse makes it accessible directly from the train station without the need for other transportation. Because we are reachable by train (and a 5-minute walk) it's the most sustainable wine tour in the area. On Sundays it will be necessary to come by car as there is a very limited train schedule on this day.

The tour stops at Antico Casale, where you’ll meet the winemaker and then tour the vineyard and cellars. Learn how the wine is produced and maybe even sample a grape fresh off of the vine. After the winery tour, you’ll sit down for a tasting session and sample 3 varieties of wine that are produced here. The first wine you’ll taste is a white Frascati DOCG, which means the wine has its designation of origin guaranteed. The second is a red wine IGP, which has a protected geographical indication. And last but not least, taste a sweet Cannellino wine. Each wine is paired with a delicious Italian specialty, such as Roman pizza or olive oil, as well as in-season fruits and vegetables from the garden.
