Departing from Monterosso, we will pass by all five villages of the Cinque Terre before heading down the coast. There will be time to stop and swim in one of the crystalline coves along the way before reaching the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Portovenere with its very particular narrow coloured houses and the breathtaking St. Peter’s Church. We will also take you into Byron’s Grotto, one of the most treasured places along the Ligurian coast. With the stunning backdrop of Portovenere, we will await the sunset while enjoying an aperitivo featuring local pesto and fresh focaccia. We will take you into Byron’s Grotto, one of the most treasured places along the Ligurian coast. We will then head up the coast towards the Cinque Terre, observing the terraced hillsides and hidden villages only visible from the sea. We will pass by all five villages of the Cinque Terre before then returning back to La Spezia. This tour takes places entirely on board the boat. Time and conditions permitting, we can make a short stop in Monterosso to get off the boat and explore. This tour includes an on-board tasting of local pesto and fresh focaccia, along with service of local wine, beer, water and soft drinks.
